Katie McAllister is an experienced training and education professional, with 18 years’ experience of developing strategies and programmes to support further and higher educational providers. She is passionate about linking education to industry, unlocking the potential in students and businesses through innovative strategies that consider different perspectives.

Katie is the Graduate Employability and Progression Lead at University Centre Peterborough. She is also the director of a small construction business and manages a portfolio of rental properties. She is currently an education doctorate student, conducting case study research on how higher education providers (HEIs) can create alliances with small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) with the intention of developing a practical guide for HEIs wishing to make incremental or discrete changes to their SME alliance creation practices.
