In this episode we speak to Ian Gardner, Industry 4.0 Solutions Architect at IBM about data – what it is and the potential it holds for manufacturers.
Data is the foundation of Industry 4.0 so we get back to basics with collection and analytics. We explore what types of information businesses can collect and how they can exploit data sets to get even more value from technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.
In a very interactive session, we were joined by Tim Minshall from the Institute for Manfuacturing and Guy Hodgkinson from MHA MacIntyre Hudson to discuss what the coming year holds for manufacturing, and where the biggest opportunities might be.
We want to help manufacturers address productivity and performance gaps with comprehensive diagnostics and one-to-one support. We'll also be developing the leaders and innovators of the future with a training brokerage and events that connect businesses and individuals to foster collaboration and the sharing of best practice.
