Stuart Gibbons OBE has led a diverse and expansive career path since forming Le Mark Group Ltd in 1983.

Le Mark operates primarily as a consumable product manufacturer & provider within the global Arts & Entertainment industry. Stuart as MD has been formative in the development of several award winning self-adhesive problem-solving products including BlackTak® Light Masking Foil. A high heat resisting aluminium tape used within the Theatre and Motion Picture sectors.

The company has expanded into 4 diverse but interconnected business units operating from its 2-acre manufacturing and warehousing facilities located in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

International Trade and the need for more SMEs to become exporters has long been a passion of Stuart. He remains a committed Export Champion for the Department of International (DIT).

Stuart was honoured with an OBE in the Queens 2021 New Year’s Honours list for Services to International Trade.
He was serving as a school and college governor and chairing the Huntingdon Chamber of Commerce for 2 years. Stuart was a Founder and inaugural Chairman of the Huntingdonshire Manufacturing Association for 7 years.

Stuart became founder chairman of the GCGP Business Advisory Panel (BAP) which was a ‘coal face’ focussed steering group advising the GCGP Business Board.

He continues to be a chairman of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Apprentice Ambassadors Network. He is supporting and encouraging students and companies to engage and explore the role of the modern apprenticeships in our new post Brexit Britain.
